Beautiful, Monstrous

All you Albanian guys
have eyes
that look like you've stared into the abyss
your entire life.
Like you see right through
to a person's soul.
Sad eyes.
But oh, when you smile,
you pull the Sun back out
from behind the clouds
with the power to
put time and space back in their place.
Beautiful eyes.
And so monstrously misleading.

Writer's notes: This was written about one person, who happened to be from Albania. It didn't sound as dramatic to write about just one person.
